Anyone who has visited our site this month must have wondered what on earth was going on - some may never return! The initial thought was a good one, the pictures did not show the jewellery at it's best so it was decided to re-design the website. Calling on our trusty 'Martin the web man' he soon produced a new look site with brilliant pictures taken by my son Brendan. However all these pictures had to be uploaded onto the site as quickly as possible.
This is where the problem started, we all have day jobs as well as making the jewellery so Brendan volunteered to do the job and to write a description for the pieces. The pictures looked great but I should have realized that a 33 year old male is not very imaginative when it comes to describing my works of art.
I quote "A necklace with wooden beads all the way round." True but probably not the best selling point. "...coming down to a red and silver bunch of beads" doesn't really fire the imagination, but it certainly gave me a good laugh! Still the base was there for me to work on and hopefully now we have a new and better website for you to enjoy.
